Whether you need to save a voicemail for your records or share it with someone else, Webex makes it easy through two main options: email access or manual download from User Hub.

✅ Option 1: Download from Your Email

By default, Webex automatically forwards voicemails to your email inbox.

Here's what to do:

  1. Open your email inbox.

  2. Look for a message with the voicemail attached (usually an .MP3 or .WAV file).

  3. You can:

    • Forward the email directly to a colleague.

    • Download the voicemail attachment to save it locally or upload it elsewhere (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, cloud storage).

🔁 Option 2: Manually Download from Webex User Hub

If you didn’t receive a voicemail email, don’t worry—you can access and download it directly from Webex.

Step-by-step instructions:

  1. Go to User Hub and sign in.

  2. From the left-hand menu, click Settings.

  3. Navigate to the Calling tab.

  4. Scroll down to Voicemail.

  5. Under the Voicemail Inbox section, click “Manage voicemails.”

  6. Browse your list of voicemails.

  7. Click Download next to the voicemail you want to save.

  8. You can now:

    • Send the file as an email attachment.

    • Share it in a Webex message.

    • Archive it locally or in your team’s shared drive.

🧾 Tips & Best Practices

  • 🔊 Voicemail files typically download as .MP3 files, easily playable on any device.

  • 🧹 Keep your voicemail inbox clean by periodically downloading and deleting old messages.

  • 🔒 Avoid forwarding sensitive voicemails without verifying the recipient's access rights.
